Peddling Soap

This could have also been called Adventures in Marketing, since that is what I've been up to this week.  Finding a store that we can partner with takes time but the process is very enjoyable.  I get to meet great people and tour areas with lovely architecture (which I adore!). The last few days I found myself in the South Bay walking down moderately warm streets lined with Victorian, Craftsmen and Spanish style buildings.   I carried boxes of soaps and lotions down sidewalks filled with pots of flowers, bookshops and restaurants.  With so many main streets having been closed to vehicle traffic in the last few years, streets are now filled with diners enjoying meals with friends under trees and umbrellas.  It feels more like a community and it's reminiscent of Europe.

On my trip I met store owners and received great feedback on our products.  I took my time walking trough towns and ultimately visited one or two stores before moving on to another city.  The big question I am asking myself tonight as I recap is, did I find any stores to partner with?  I won't know for sure just yet, but the answer maybe yes.  I hope that our bay area friends will be able to purchase our products in person soon! I will let you all know so stay tuned my natural soap loving friends!
